Hello! I’m Salena.

Graphic designer. Animator. Creative thinker.

I graduated from The University of Missouri - St. Louis where I studied Graphic Design and where I found my calling! I loved learning all kinds of design there, but especially had a thing for digital marketing and motion design. (It is really something special to see a beautiful still design turn in to animation)

I am one for helping people (I used to be a personal trainer and trumpet music teacher) so helping clients bring their vision to life through design is something I am greatly passionate about. And that doesn't stop at clients; I love helping my team create something memorable too. I am also always learning and expanding my knowledge in the career field. I always am researching successful design and seeing what is up-to-date in the current design world. 

I am driven, dedicated, never settling, always taking initiative, and passionate - all while having a smile on my face. 

Outside of designer, I am very passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. We only get one body, so I believe we should treat it as best as we can. I love any type of working out, but Crossfit is my go to!

3 random facts about me:

1. I completed a half Ironman on the same day as my college graduation so I didn't get to walk across the graduation stage but I got to walk across an incredibly hard triathlon finish line! 

2. I love screen printing!  I have a little printing studio in my apartment. 

3. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I hit my goal of reading 24 books in a year before my 25th birthday!
